Riverside self catering accommodation on Exmoor

As seen on 'Britain's Best Walks' with Julia Bradbury!

Sitting in a truly special setting right on the bank of the beautiful East Lyn River, the Lodge at Myrtleberry offers comfortable self catering accommodation for up to six people (additional accommodation can sometimes be made available for larger groups up to 11 people - please enquire). It sits in a large open garden on a wide bend of the river, surrounded by oak woodlands on steep hillsides; it is almost the only property in the dramatic National Trust owned Watersmeet Valley.

Sharing the site with the owners' home the Lodge is nevertheless private and completely self-contained. It has been an extremely popular holiday cottage since the 1950's with succeeding generations of families returning year after year. Just over a mile down river is the fishing village of Lynmouth on the dramatic north Devon coast. Just over a mile up river is Exmoor National Park's open moorland.

The Lodge at Myrtleberry is perfect for cold water dippers, keen walkers - and their dogs - and those looking for a special place to unwind.
