Key information
- Friday Changeover (usually)
- Accommodates up to 6 people. An additional child under 5 can be accommodated for a £50 supplement.
- Dogs welcome for a charge of £20
- A one third deposit confirms a booking, with the balance due 2 months before arrival
- Payments are accepted via bank transfer or cheque.
- Short breaks are available in the Lodge during low season or at short notice. Contact us for rates.
- There is ample space for 2 cars - any more please check with us first. An EV charger is available.
- Our valley location does mean there is a steep drive down from the road - easily manageable with cars but not advised with trailers!
- Supermarkets can deliver your supplies but they cannot get down the drive, so you have to be here to meet them at the road!
- Sorry, we do not provide cots, high chairs etc for young children.
- Bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own river/beach towels.
- The wifi speed is reasonably fast although some mobile phone signals still struggle!
Bringing your dog?
With a river to splash in, woodland trails from the door and a large open garden, Myrtleberry is an absolute paradise for dogs. We - and our dogs - warmly welcome yours! Most local pubs and cafes are also dog friendly.
🐾Up to 2 dogs welcome as standard - occasional exceptions for more, just ask.
🐾 A £20 per week supplement applies
🐾 Dogs are not permitted in bedrooms
🐾 There is direct access to the East Lyn River from the garden for swimming, otherwise the garden is enclosed.
🐑 Exmoor & dogs: we strongly recommend that your dog is treated against ticks, although please avoid spot-on treatments that leach into the water and kill aquatic life. Also up-to-date worming helps to protect Exmoor's sheep and local wildlife.
As we have so many returning guests The Lodge can get booked up a long time in advance. Please don't hesitate to enquire about making a reservation for future years!
